Wine Label Finishing Press
Rolls of pre-printed wine labels that are produced in various volumes are re-register decorated on this Telstar custom finishing press. Hot/Cold Foil, Rotary Screen, Embossing, Die-Cutting, Slitting, and Multi-Spindle Rewinding with Rolls to 20” wide x up to 40” diameter can be processed. Telstar’s Servo GeniusTM Drive has three distinct tension zones enhancing registration.
Custom Rotary Screen Press
This Telstar custom All-Servo two-color Rotary Screen Press is complete with a 40” diameter Unwind with Roll Lift, Splice Table, Closed-Loop Tension, Web Steering, Web Cleaner, two Telstar Rotary Screen units with 25.5” repeat, Slitter and Dual Spindle Rewind.

Laminate & Re-Register Die Cut Pre-Printed Products
Telstar’ Auto Register is so finely tuned that the machine starts & stops without losing register. This precisely processes sequentially numbered products without losing the sequence. Linered or self-wound laminates can be applied to the pre-printed web. After matrix stripping, the finished product can either be rewound or sheeted with the Rotary Sheeter controlled with Auto-Register. A Splice Table, Lateral Die Adjustment, and Die Pressure Monitor are included. A safety light curtain allows access to the control console preventing reaching into the process zone. A built-in die hoist makes changing tools safe and easy.
In-Line Finishing Module for Digitally Printed Forms
This custom manufactured finishing module is placed in-line with a digital printer and processes forms at up to 400 FPM. A festoon serves as a buffer controlling the speed of the Telstar unit. The Servo Die Station runs magnetic cylinders with repeats to 30.5”. Products are shingled on an 8’ Telstar installed Conveyor. Scrap is evacuated and chopped and sent to an outdoor dumpster. A built-in Die Hoist facilitates tool changes.
Custom Ballot & Forms Finishing Press
This Telstar All-Servo custom 20” wide press finishes digitally printed election ballots and forms produced by several digital printers. Processes include one spot color either on the front or back, creasing, scoring, perforating in a Rotary Die Station, Sheet Cutting in a Rotary Die Station, along with Shingling on an 8’ long Conveyor. Edge trim is evacuated and chopped. Production rates are near 400 FPM.

This Mark Andy 4120 Press is a Great Example …
Starting with our customer’s veteran MA 4120 we created a unique multi-web product converting system adding a 40” diameter Unwind Stand with Closed-Loop Tension and Web Steering that introduces an auxiliary web to the process through a Half-Turn Bar on the second deck of our Bridge Assembly. A Custom Dryer Package cures a unique chemistry that is then stabilized with a Chill Drum. The process required the web to be printed front and back both before and after the multi-web construction was created. The project was pre-engineered and approved with our CAD-To-GOTM process so installation and commissioning was trouble-free.
