The deadline to file your 9th Cycle Local Law 11/98 (FISP) Façade Report is HERE!
Owners and Managers of any buildings 6+ stories with a building block # ending in 0, 7 or 8, the deadline to file your Sub-cycle B report is February 21, 2023.
Your inspection must be completed and a report filed with the DOB by this date to avoid any fines or penalties, which have increased significantly since the last cycle. |

For buildings with a block # ending in 1, 2 or 3, now is the time to address all SWARMP and UNSAFE items from your previous Local Law 11 (FISP) Report in order to meet the 9th Cycle deadline of February 21, 2024.

With the filing for Cycle 9 looming on Feb. 21, 2023, the board faced a major decision: go cheap or go big? They went big! "Final" Rule on Compliance With Local Law 97 |
The city's Department of Buildings (DOB) published a final rule in December of 2022 on how Co-op and Condo Boards can comply with Local Law 97, the centerpiece of the Climate Mobilization Act.
The rule sets emissions limits over time for various property types, outlines compliance requirements for Owners and provides methodology for calculating a building’s greenhouse gas (GHG) limit.

Florida Feature Project - Riverside Church |
Merritt Engineering was retained by Riverside Church, located in North Lauderdale, FL, to develop a build out plan for a multipurpose space called the “bridge”. The intent of the "bridge" is to provide a gathering space between the existing church and the learning center.
Our Florida team coordinated with the City of North Lauderdale Community Development to produce a preliminary layout, which is currently in the design process.
Along with the necessary structural plans, mechanical, electrical and plumbing services were also required to complete the project. Construction is set to take place in Spring of 2023.
