Disclosure & Comparison of Annuity Contracts

 

Effective November 10, 2020; Required January 1, 2021 

 

Revised Financial Needs Analysis and Disclosure & Comparison of Annuity Contracts forms are available now on AppBuilder and E-App. The revisions are a result of updates to the NAIC Suitability in Annuity Transactions Model Regulation (MDL 275).

 

Transition Period

Both the current and new (11-20) FNA and Disclosure & Comparison of Annuity Contracts Forms will be accepted during the November 10, 2020 to December 31, 2020 transition period. The new versions must accompany all annuity apps received on or after January 1, 2021. Please see below for a list of the appropriate forms.

 

Financial Needs Analysis (FNA)

The generic FNA  ET-2506(11-20) applies to all annuity sales in all approved states, except California, Florida and Massachusetts where state variations apply:

• California: ET-2506CA(11-20)
• Florida: ET-2506FL(6-19)
• Massachusetts: ET-2506MA(11-20)

Disclosure & Comparison of Annuity Contracts Forms

These forms must be submitted for each contract being replaced (including partial and penalty-free transfers) in addition to any state-required replacement form(s).
