The Company Will Commence Adult-Use Wholesale Deliveries in New York with Products from Riverhead and Rochester Cultivation Facilities Available to Active Retail Locations throughout the State
NEW YORK, December 8, 2023 – The Cannabist Company Holdings Inc. PLANET 13 ENTERS INTO SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT
November 14, 2023 / Planet 13 Holdings Inc. (CSE:PLTH)(OTCQX:PLNH) (“Planet 13” or the “Company“), a leading vertically-integrated multi-state cannabis company, today announced that it has entered into a settlement agreement on November 14, 2023 (the “Settlement Agreement“) with certain individuals (collectively, the “SDC Parties“) with respect to certain claims (collectively, the “Legal Actions“) advanced by the SDC Parties against Next Green Wave Holdings, Inc. (“NGW“), a subsidiary of NGW and the Company (collectively, the “Planet 13 Parties“). As a result of the Company’s acquisition of NGW on March 2, 2022, the Company assumed all liabilities of NGW.
Pursuant to the Settlement Agreement, in consideration for the SDC Parties releasing the Planet 13 Parties from claims relating to the Legal Actions and to avoid the further expense of litigation, the Company agreed to pay the SDC Parties a cash payment of US$300,000 in the aggregate (the “Cash Payment“) and issue the SDC Parties an aggregate of 1,000,000 shares of common stock in the capital of the Company (the “Settlement Shares“). The Cash Payment will be made and the Settlement Shares will be issued on the date that is 14 days from the date of signing of the Settlement Agreement. Based on the closing price of the Company’s shares of common stock on the Canadian Securities Exchange of CAD$1.2000 and based on the Bank of Canada’s CAD to USD exchange rate of US$1.00=CAD$1.3725, in each case as of November 14, 2023, the total settlement amount is approximately US$1,174,316.94. The Settlement Shares will be subject to resale restrictions under applicable U.S. and Canadian securities laws.

STUDY RESULTS OF PSILOCYBIN TREATMENT IN BIPOLAR II DEPRESSION PUBLISHED IN JAMA PSYCHIATRY
BELIEVED TO BE FIRST EVER PSILOCYBIN CLINICAL TRIAL FOR TREATMENT OF BIPOLAR II DEPRESSION
LONDON, Dec. 06, 2023 — Compass Pathways plc (Nasdaq: CMPS) (“Compass”), a biotechnology company dedicated to accelerating patient access to evidence-based innovation in mental health, today announced the publication of a paper in
JAMA Psychiatry that demonstrates the potential for investigational COMP360 psilocybin treatment in treatment-resistant bipolar type II disorder (bipolar II). Results from the investigator-initiated open-label study were first presented at the Annual Meeting of the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology in 2022.
The study, which was conducted by Dr Scott Aaronson at Sheppard Pratt, Baltimore, and funded by Compass, investigated the safety and efficacy of a single 25mg dose of COMP360 psilocybin treatment in participants with treatment-resistant bipolar II. The primary endpoint was change in Montgomery-Åsberg Depression Rating Scale (MADRS) total score from baseline to week 3. All participants (n = 15) had lower MADRS scores with a mean change from baseline of -24.0 points at week 3, 12 participants met the response criteria and 11 met the remission criteria.

Join clinician Shari B. Kaplan, LCSW for a two- day CME accredited workshop providing an in-depth approach to best practices for integrative mental health. Kaplan will educate on her integrative approach from assessments, treatment plans and process. She begins with a thorough psychosocial assessment (this includes Bio-psychosocial assessment, family attachments/dynamics, medical history, spiritual beliefs, exercise, nutrition, relationships, strengths/deficits) to have an in depth understanding of patient, prepare for treatment and create treatment goals.
She will share when and how to use plant medicine and cannabis as natural approaches in treatment both with and without conventional medicine. Kaplan will demonstrate techniques for applying focused work using modalities like EMDR, IFS, ego state work, CBT and Functional Spirituality. (EMDR & IFS are demonstrated in how they are applied).
Attendees will learn strategies in the 'process phase' on teaching self-regulation, behavior change skills to assist patients in their daily lives and how to interweave movement & music. Kaplan will additionally explore ways to leverage microdosing of cannabis and other plant medicine, alongside with lifestyle changes, and adjunctive therapies (nutrition, exercise, meditation, mindfulness, breath work, acupuncture/body work) to maintain therapeutic momentum during and outside of treatment, assisting patients in improving the quality of their lives. This dynamic workshop provides clinicians with an integrative mental health approach to treatment. Both with and without psychedelic assisted therapy.
