April is the month of the promise of beauty with rain showers bringing on flowers and colorful surroundings. Flower patterns and colorful surrounds can be found in historic interiors everywhere and appreciated all year round. The use of stencils in historic interiors is a common decorative finishes technique to incorporate various patterns and colorful finishes. Stencils have been used to help reinstate and create decoration for historic structures all around the world throughout all types of structures such as houses, civic buildings, museums, churches and theaters.
